A Letter from our Director of Recruitment Events
Dear Potential New Members,
I am so honored to be serving as Alpha Lambda’s Director of Recruitment Events for 2025. I am counting down the days until we can welcome you all into Tri Delta! As you begin this journey, I want to take a moment to share what makes Tri Delta so special and why we are so excited to meet you.

At Tri Delta, our values of leadership, friendship, and self-sacrifice, are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in empowering women to lead with courage, act with boldness, and always put others before ourselves. When you join Tri Delta, you’re not just gaining sisters; you’re becoming part of a family that supports, challenges, and inspires you to grow into your best self.
Recruitment can be both exciting and a bit overwhelming, but rest assured, our goal is to get to know the real you - your passions, your dreams, and what you can contribute to our sisterhood. We’re not just looking for members; we’re looking for women who will help shape the future of Tri Delta, just as the women before us have done.

As you navigate this process, remember that finding the right home is about more than just you choosing a chapter—it's about us getting to know each other and discovering where you can truly thrive. We’re excited to see the unique qualities you’ll bring to our chapter, and we look forward to introducing you to the lasting friendships, leadership opportunities, and personal growth that Tri Delta has in store.
On behalf of the entire Tri Delta family, we can’t wait to welcome you to our sisterhood. Here’s to making lifelong connections, embracing new opportunities, and starting an unforgettable journey together at the University of South Carolina!

A Letter from our Director of First Year Experience
Hi! My name is Allison Schueller, and I am the new member educator for Tri Delta this year! I truly couldn’t be more excited to welcome you all into this amazing process, and I promise you, you won’t regret it! Being a part of Tri Delta has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my college career so far!

This sisterhood in Tri Delta is like nothing I have experienced. My best friends in Tri Delta are my true support system, cheering me through the good times and being a shoulder to lean on during the not-so-good times. I know that, being a part of this chapter, I will always have someone I can laugh with and be my true self. Not only did I find my best friends. I now have a bunch of role models whom I constantly look up to. The women in Tri Delta make me want to continue striving to be the best version of myself. The sisterhood in Tri Delta goes beyond the surface level; it is an organization of girls working every day to build each other up. I found my home away from home in Tri Delta, and I can’t wait for you to find yours.

I am so excited for you to begin your journey in finding your perfect chapter during recruitment. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it is so worth it. Don’t wish this time away because soon enough, you are going to be reliving this whole experience thinking Where did all the time go. This journey is just beginning, and remember to stay true to who you are.

To future PNMs,
My name is Camryn, and I’m so excited to share a bit of advice with you as you prepare for recruitment! First off, congratulations on your decision to go through this process. Recruitment is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet new people, reflect on your values, and discover so much more about yourself and what’s important to you.
I’ve had the privilege of experiencing recruitment from both sides as a Pi Chi and as the Vice President of Membership Experience and it is one of my favorite parts of being in the Panhellenic community. My biggest piece of advice is to be your authentic self. The key to finding your chapter is being genuine and connecting with women who will love you for exactly who you are. The girls you’ll meet are looking for someone who fits into their sisterhood, just as you are.
Another important piece of advice: ask questions! Recruitment is a two way process. While you’re learning about the chapters, they’re also learning about you. Everyone is excited to share what they love about their chapters, so take this opportunity to ask about what matters most to you whether it’s leadership roles, sisterhood events, or even memories they have made. I asked a lot of questions when I went through, and it helped me find a chapter that aligned with my values and goals. It’s not about asking “perfect” questions, it's about showing genuine curiosity and ensuring that you’re making the best decision about where you’ll invest your time, energy, and heart.
Lastly, remember to take care of yourself. They don’t call Columbia famously hot for nothing, trust me, it gets really hot! Recruitment can be exciting, but it’s also an emotional adjustment at times. Be sure to get rest, eat well, and take moments to recharge. Lean on your Pi Chis, they’re there to support you every step of the way. I still remember the Sonic trips with my Pi Chi group, where we would talk about everything and anything. And above all, trust the process. You will end up exactly where you’re meant to be.
Best of luck, and enjoy every moment of the journey. You’ve got this!

DLAM,
