BOLD.
Tri Delta is BOLD. Our members embrace their true selves and are empowered by the unwavering support of those around them to 'BRING YOU.' Every member contributes authentically and genuinely, adding their unique voice to our diverse sisterhood. We celebrate individuality and encourage each sister to stand confidently in who they are. Through this powerful sense of belonging, we create a community where everyone is uplifted to achieve their fullest potential

KIND.
Tri Delta is KIND. Our chapter is built on a foundation of kindness, where every member is valued, welcomed, and loved. As a sisterhood, our goal is to ensure that each individual feels seen and appreciated, and this begins with kindness. Whether it’s sharing a meal with a sister you’ve just met, bonding at a chapter event, or coming together during sisterhood activities, we create a space where friendships flourish and genuine connections are made. Through kindness, we strengthen our bond and uplift one another in every step of our lifetime of membership.

A Letter from a Senior
College is a time of immense growth, a journey of self-discovery, shaped by the people you meet and the experiences that challenge you. It’s a big step, and an intimidating one, but it’s also an opportunity to find a place where you truly belong.
My name is LiLi Gayle, and I am a senior graduating in May 2025. When I arrived at the University of South Carolina, I had no idea what my journey would hold. Coming from Georgia without knowing many people at USC, I saw this new chapter as a blank slate, an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone.
During my first week, I went through recruitment and was immediately drawn to the Tri Delta women. Their kindness, authenticity, and curiosity made a lasting impression. I remember walking away from those first conversations feeling both overwhelmed and overjoyed, I had met people who were down-to-earth, interesting, and genuinely welcoming. I knew I had found something special.
After receiving my bid, reality set in. The transition to college was overwhelming, and I struggled with the sheer number of new faces and the drastic change from life back home. My mental health took a hit. While I enjoyed getting to know the women in Tri Delta, what truly stood out was their support. I felt comfortable opening up about my struggles, and in return, others shared similar experiences. We leaned on each other, and through shared moments, whether deep conversations or lighthearted laughter, I found a sense of belonging.
One of my favorite memories from freshman year is simply sitting in the house, talking with girls I barely knew, and feeling an effortless connection. We learned about each other, laughed endlessly, and built the foundation for friendships that would last far beyond college. Over the past four years, I have continued to grow alongside this chapter, surrounded by women with diverse perspectives and personalities. They have challenged me, supported me, and shown me what it means to be part of something bigger than myself.
Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky to have found both close friends and the “distant friends,” the ones you may not see every day but who still make campus feel like home with a simple smile or passing conversation. Tri Delta has given me a lifelong support system, and for that, I am forever grateful.
To whoever is reading this, I encourage you to fully embrace the people around you. Be curious about their stories, invest in your relationships, and allow yourself to grow through the connections you make. This chapter has given me lessons, love, and a community I will cherish forever.

Delta Love and More,
